We bought it thru ebay for $33.00. She's decided to start back on this form of education to get it done in order, documented and transcript ready. Her goal is to complete all 10th, 11th and 12th grades by next May! (2006) Right at her 16th birthday, of course LOL!
I know she can put her mind to it. I turned off the calandar part so she can go as slow or as fast as she wants. I am also on the look out for the other 10th gr cd roms and plan on buying them a subject at a time. She wants to find as much info as she can get her hands on in the modern arena of designing. She is really mulling over the whole college degree vs experience and self learning. I do believe works speak for themselves, but how do the clients look at that? She wants to find an appreticeship here a d then wants to plan on heading to Miami at 17 for one over there, Not gonna happen at 17, Baby Rae! I wonder if Dennis is interested in an apprenticship over there too? He already does lawn maintainence LOL!
Kallee has started working on a K-1st grade workbook. She's learning to write letters by staying inside the lines. Her big thing is that she forgets to skip a space between words. But she's working on it! She's been looking at the spanish words for 1-10. and sometimes she starts in on 11-20. She's picking up words on just about anything any of us are reading....while that's great, its not so great when it's one's own private thoughts. LOL!
She and JJ have started taking turns making and leaving notes and pics made out of the alphabet magnets. My fav of hers was when she put up there 'JJ is a dog' then when they made up and everyone was happy she changed it to 'JJ is a Love Dog' ROFLMBO!! On his turn he makes these really cool pics from the letters. This on is a beach and palm tree and a man and the sun in the sky. PRETTY cool!
Dallas played with blocks I brought in my room this evening. He did pretty much all straight towers. Kal made a train w/animals riding.
